Do you ship your products?

Yes! We ship nationwide throughout the United States. Shipping is $5.00 and will be delivered to you within 1-2 business days.


How can I prevent my cookies from drying out so quickly?

Be sure to store each type cookie in airtight containers, separate from each other. To keep soft or chewy cookies moist, add a piece of an apple to the container. The cookies will draw the moisture from the apple and stay moist longer.

Do you offer nut free products?

For your safety, we want to ensure that you are well-informed about any nut content in our products. If any of our items contain nuts, we will either have visible indications on the product or provide clear labeling indicating the specific type of nut present. If you are planning to place an order with us and someone in your party has a nut allergy, we kindly request that you inform us at the time of placing the order. This will allow us to notify our kitchen about the allergy and take appropriate precautions.

Do you offer any gluten free, dairy free, vegan or sugar free items?

Currently, we do not have any items available that are dairy-free, vegan, or sugar-free. However, if we do create any products in the future that align with these standards and meet our quality criteria, we will make an announcement on our social media platforms. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to stay connected with us through our social media channels for any updates on new offerings.

Cakes & Custom Orders

Your cake is denser than other cake I have had, why is that?

At our bakery, all of our cakes are meticulously crafted from scratch, meaning we refrain from using any preservatives or chemicals in our cake batter. Unlike boxed cake mixes that rely on those additives and excessive sugar to achieve a lighter and sweeter cake, our scratch-made cakes possess a denser consistency but boast a superior and more indulgent flavor. To ensure optimal moisture retention and delectable taste, each of our cakes is delicately soaked with a simple syrup. We firmly believe in upholding high standards and never taking shortcuts in our baking process.

Since preferences for cake texture and flavor can vary greatly, we highly recommend trying our cakes before placing an order. This way, we can ensure that we provide you with the best possible outcome tailored to your individual tastes.

How much time in advance do you need to place an order?

We are pleased to accommodate small orders, such as daily store items, with a 24-hour notice. For full-size pies or larger cupcake orders, we kindly request a 48-hour notice to ensure timely fulfillment. Regarding store cakes (6" with no customization), we may be able to prepare them within 48 hours, but it depends on the volume of prepaid orders we have for that specific week. In some cases, we may need to limit the number of orders we accept.

For custom cakes, cookies, cake pops, cupcakes, or larger store cakes, we highly recommend placing your order at least 10-14 days in advance. This timeframe allows us to create your order to perfection. To avoid any disappointment, we encourage you to place your order as soon as you have the event details. It's important to note that we operate with a small staff and limited space, which means there are certain weeks when we reach our maximum capacity.

I want to place an order for custom items. How should I start the order?

To initiate a custom order, we recommend reaching out to us via email at cakepleasebakeshop@mail.com Please include essential details such as the specific item(s) you are interested in ordering, the desired date of delivery, preferred flavor(s) (if applicable), estimated serving size, any specific theme or color scheme you have in mind, and any inspirational photos you'd like us to consider.

Once we receive your email, we will promptly generate a quote tailored to your requirements and provide it to you. If you have budget constraints or are unsure about the specific elements you'd like to include in your order, we are more than happy to present you with alternative options and suggestions.

Once the details of your order are finalized, you can either visit our store or call us to secure your order by making a 50% deposit. It's important to note that we will only consider your inquiry as an official order once the 50% deposit has been received. This ensures that your order is guaranteed and reserved for you.

I don’t like super sweet, store bought-tasting frosting. How is your frosting made?

At our bakery, we take pride in crafting our buttercream from scratch, made to order. Our buttercream is created using the traditional American style, which entails a delightful blend of butter, sugar, and vanilla in our basic frosting. We intentionally avoid excessive sweetness, as we firmly believe that it detracts from the genuine flavor of the cake. Rest assured, our goal is to provide you with a buttercream that enhances and complements the true essence of our cakes.

If I have a photo of a cake that I love, can you replicate it?

We greatly appreciate it when our customers come prepared with inspiration for their orders. However, as every artist possesses their unique style and skill, we prefer to utilize your inspiration as a guiding influence rather than aiming for an exact replica. Additionally, considering that we often work with varying sizes and materials to accommodate the specific requirements of your order, we may need to make slight modifications to the design to better suit your event. Rest assured, our goal is to create a custom piece that captures the essence of your inspiration while ensuring it harmonizes perfectly with your occasion.

How do I properly transport and store my product/order from your bakery?

When transporting cakes or delicate items, it is crucial to exercise extra caution. To maintain the integrity of our products, we recommend keeping them as flat as possible during transportation. If the item is shelf-stable, it can be stored at room temperature. However, for optimal quality, we suggest consuming our products within 24 hours of purchase.

If any items were refrigerated in our store, it is advisable to continue refrigerating them until you reach your destination, unless you plan to consume them within a couple of hours. Furthermore, it is essential to display all products in a cool area, away from direct heat or sunlight.

When handling cakes, it is important to hold them from the bottom rather than the sides of the box. Carefully place them on the passenger side floor of your car or in the trunk of an SUV or hatchback, avoiding the trunk of a sedan as the slanted seats could potentially damage the cake. Maintain a cool temperature in your car during transport—use the air conditioning on high during hot weather and turn off the heat entirely during colder weather. Additionally, cakes should be shielded from direct heat or sunlight for extended periods.

If you plan to serve the cake within a three-hour window, we suggest leaving it in a cool place for display until serving time. However, if the serving time exceeds three hours, it is advisable to refrigerate the cake upon reaching your destination.

 Do you deliver?

While we do offer delivery services, it's important to note that our availability for deliveries, aside from weddings, is limited due to our small staff. To increase the likelihood of accommodating your delivery request, we kindly ask that you inform us as early as possible. The sooner we are aware of your inquiry, the better we can assess our schedule and make necessary arrangements.

Please be aware that there is a specific fee associated with our delivery services, which is determined based on the distance and time required to reach your venue.

Do you ship your cakes?

While we have a strong desire to ship our exquisite cakes, we regret to inform you that we cannot guarantee they would arrive in their most pristine form. Therefore, we currently offer two options: pick up from our location in San Dimas, California, or delivery within Southern California for a nominal traveling fee.
